New adventure break launched
Toro, Toro, Toro!

Established Spanish off-road firm, Toro Trail, have launched a new adventure break, dubbed Toro Adventure, and using BMW’s R1200GS Rallye.

Based in a luxurious mountain top villa, Toro Adventure is the ultimate no-hassle riding experience, with collection and delivery to the local Malaga airport (30 minutes away) all part of the service. The tour offers as much or little tarmac /dirt mix as you wish to experience. The mapped routes offer some of the best riding roads in Europe coupled with sinuous, mountain tracks for even the most adventurous explorer.

MCN travel correspondent, Justin Hayzelden, recently tried it out, and said: “The road routes feature an incredible blend of long fast sweepers, technical compound curves, endless S-bends and sensational switchbacks. The off-road a is mainly gravel tracks of varying difficulty, and even a slippery river crossing. The team’s attention to detail and backup should put Toro Adventure’s tours on any budding adventurer’s bucket list.”

Riders only need to bring their shorts as Toro supplies full high-quality riding gear and touring luggage, and tour options include GPS led riding or fully guided tours. Places are filling fast, so get in there quick for some end of season riding heaven

The bike
BMW’s R1200GS Rallye is a force to be reckoned with, MCN’s Deputy Editor, Richard Newland has been running one this year as his long-term test bike. He was after a bike that would address his riding needs, with the key demand being versatility. You can find out more on his time with the bike, and also read his regular updates on the MCN Fleet page.
